Two Wolverine wrestlers will be moving on to CIF Masters after medaling at the CIF Championships at Westminster High School on Saturday. The wrestling squad sent a record 10 wrestlers to compete in the tournament.
Jake Bracken ’14 finished third in the 132-pound weight class to advance to the next round of the postseason, while Jake Adler ’17 finished fourth in the 126-pound weight class.
“I feel pretty excited,” Bracken told the Los Angeles Daily News. “Last year I didn’t even make it to day two of this tournament, so I’m really happy with how I did and I think Masters is going to be a lot of fun.”
Adler and Bracken will be going to Temecula High School next week to compete in Masters on Friday and Saturday.
