With a 1-0 victory on a rainy Friday afternoon against San Clemente at Ted Slavin Field, the girls’ soccer team has reached CIF Semifinals for the second consecutive year.
Malanna Wheat scored the only goal of the Quarterfinals game, leading the team past an opponent some members were already familiar with, as San Clemente defeated the Wolverines in the playoffs at home two seasons ago.
As the team stands one win away from heading to CIF Finals, the Wolverines’ Semifinals matchup will be at home on Tuesday, March 4.
