After a notching a 8-4 league record throughout the season, the boys’ golf team finished third in the Mission League finals and advanced to the first round of CIF, which will be played May 19 at Lakewood Golf Course.
If the team finished in the top two in the first round of CIF Playoffs, they will go on to the second round in Palm Desert Lakewood Golf Course where the team was defeated last year. To qualify to the third round, the club will need to place in the top four out of 40 teams that are present.
Aside from the team moving on to CIF Playoffs and securing third place in the Mission League finals, individual league finals were held yesterday. Team Captain Bakari Bolden ’14 placed eighth while freshman Brandon Kewalramani ’17 finished second in his first ever individual league finals.
