Two Wolverines competed at the New Balance National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Greensboro, N.C. June 15. Courtney Corrin ’16 finished runner-up in the girls’ long jump while David Manahan finished 16th in the boys’ 800-meter.
Corrin won last year’s meet with a jump of 20 feet, 7 1/4 inches, but fell slightly short this time around with a jump of 20 feet, 4 1/4 inches.
Manahan, who will be running for USC next year, came into the meet after winning the state title in Clovis with a time of 1:51.04 June 7. Manahan ran a 1:52.55 at the New Balance National meet.
