Five varsity water polo players have been named to USA Water Polo’s 2014 Junior Olympic All-American Teams.
Attacker Johnny Hooper ’15 and Goalkeeper Anthony Ridgley ’15 were named to the 18 & Under first team, while Center Raphael Raede ’15 and Center Defender Davis Wachtell ’16 made the 18 & Under second team. Center Ben Hallock ’15 was put on the honorable mention list. All players were members of LA Premier Club, with the exception of Hallock, who is on Bruin. LA Premier came in second place in the Platinum division.
“I’m pretty excited,” Raede said. “I think I’ve come a long way since my freshman year and I’m very excited for this upcoming season.”
