The boys’ soccer team tied Loyola 2-2 Friday night in front of a large turnout of Fanatics preceding the boys’ basketball game. The draw improves the Wolverines record to 8-2-1 on the season.
The draw comes on the heels of back-to-back losses, so the squad is now 3-2-1 in Mission League play. Heading into Mission League play the team had a perfect 5-0 record.
The Loyola Cubs struck first with a goal in the 36th minute, but Myles Pindus ’15 answered minutes later with a free-kick goal from 25 yards out to head into halftime tied at one.
The Wolverines started the second half with a quick goal from Max Rolnick ’16 to take their first lead of the game. The squad held on to the lead until conceding a goal in the 72nd minute.
