Jose Morales’ ’13 recent interest in art and architecture led him to study the architecture of Antoni Gaudi for two weeks over the summer in Barcelona.
“I think it’s really interesting how an architect can make a building that is going to be sort of a representation of who he is and that’s going to stay there for however long it’s there,” Morales said.
In regards to traveling alone Morales said, “At first it was [scary], but once I was there I just kind of dove into their culture and immersed myself into it…and I felt like a local by the end.”
