About 80 rising fifth and sixth graders attended the Summer Enrichment Program at the Middle School for four weeks during the summer.
Middle School Attendance Coordinator Brenda Simon runs the program, which is in its 20th year. Students took classes in core subjects and performing arts.
They also performed routines that they learned in their classes for parents and received awards for participation in SEP.
SEP helps to identify students for future enrollment at Harvard-Westlake.
