Darren Stein ’89 will screen his new film “G.B.F” after school Friday in Ahmanson Auditorium.
The screening is free and open to all Harvard-Westlake students.
“G.B.F stands for Gay Best Friend,” said visual arts department head Cheri Gaulke. “The movie is fun and campy, and at the same time it has real characters that I almost recognized as Harvard-Westlake students. It has a real authenticity of emotions.”
“The movie is about three popular clique queens who compete for the friendship of a newly “out” teenage boy with the goal of turning him into the latest must-have accessory,” Stein, the film’s director, said.
The screening is set to start at 3pm, and after the film is shown a short questionnaire will be given to the audience.
