Candy cane “Wintergrams” were sold $1 apiece from Monday, Dec. 10 through Wednesday, Dec. 12 in preparation for the annual week-long upper school Winterfest celebration the week before winter break. Wintergrams will be distributed during Winterfest by a Santa Claus.
Free latkes were available on the quad on Monday, Dec. 10. and offered with sour cream and apple sauce.
“Winterfest is a very exciting time at Harvard-Westlake with a lot of fun activities for students to get involved in. By featuring complimentary latkes and selling wintergrams next week, we are hoping to raise excitement for winterfest and help students celebrate the holiday season,” Prefect Oliver Goodman-Waters ’14 said.
Prefect Council and the Social Committee planned the festivities.
