Senior and Junior Prefect election packets were emailed to the sophomore and junior classes March 22.
The packets are due by 2:35 p.m. on April 10 to Director of Student Affairs Jordan Church, and candidates must also email an electronic copy to him as well.
Mandatory information sessions will be held in the dean’s conference room April 9 and 10. Voting for the incoming senior prefects will begin April 15, after the junior class hears candidates answer questions in class meeting regarding the Honor Board and their possible role on Prefect Council. The results will then be announced April 16.
The sophomore class will hear speeches and begin voting April 19 and the incoming junior prefects will then be announced April 22.
“If you enjoy being involved in our school community, working with your friends to get things done, creating exciting new traditions, giving back to our school, and acting as a leader, you should run for Junior or Senior Prefect!” the email reads.
Henry Hahn ’14 and Ashley Sacks ’14 were named Head Prefects March 19 without a vote, as they both ran unopposed.
