Students browsed and signed up for different clubs Monday at Activities Fair held in the quad.
The 72 clubs each had a table set up where they displayed posters, sign-up sheets, and often gave out treats as club leaders advertised to prospective members during the fair, which is hosted annually by the Prefect Council.
Clubs ranged from cultural clubs, like Christian Club and the Latino Culture Club, to math and science clubs, like Science Bowl and Finance and Investment Club, to clubs supporting student outreach and activism, like the Girls Learn International and Environmental Club.
Jason Gabaee ’15, club leader of the Students Against Distracted Driving Club, was excited about advertising his club’s cause during break.
“[Distracted driving] is an often neglected issue that gets overlooked. By shining light on it, we hope that we can save at least one life, and Activities Fair gets people interested, and hopefully compels people to join [our club],” Gabaee said.
