The Philomathean Society hosted its first movie screening of the year after school Monday in Ahmanson Lecture Hall.
The club, which organizes screenings of classic films and holds discussions about the films during activities period, screened Alfred Hitchcock’s “Strangers On A Train,” a film chosen by club founder Henry Hahn ’14.
“We wanted to choose a movie that was both entertaining and artistically dynamic,” Hahn said. “Any Hitchcock film usually has a good balance.”
