The middle school surf club went on their third surf trip of the year to San Onofre on March 15.
While the trips are not mandatory for club members, 12 students chose to participate. Unlike previous trips, this surf trip was only a day trip as opposed to an overnight, and the students and chaperones left at 6:30 a.m. from the middle school campus and returned at 2 p.m.
The trip was supervised by chaperones John Kim, Leah Smith and Kyong Pak. They spent the day surfing and eating lunch and played other group bonding games as well.
