More than 300 Lincoln Douglas, Policy and Parliamentary debaters attended the third annual International Summer Debate Program this summer.
Over the course of the seven-week program, debaters from over eight countries, ranging from beginner to varsity levels, spent their time reading, writing, researching and participating in mock debates.
They were also given the opportunity to learn from Tournament of Champions winners and experienced debaters in Lincoln Douglas Debate.
“Our goal each day is to have every student leave more excited about debating than when they arrived,” Program Head Mike Bietz said. “We have always achieved our goals of providing an excellent experience for students to improve their skills in competitive debate from top level instructors.”
