Spanish students from eighth to 12th grade participated in the Aula Toledo and Escuela Montalbán educational programs while in Spain during spring break. They were paired up into groups of three or four to do activities such as treasure hunts and taking selfies with local monuments during the school day.
They boarded in pairs with host families.
“It was an outside learning experience,” Isobel Phillips ’17 said. “There wasn’t really an average day, because each day we were doing completely different things.”
The 23 students and two advisers on the trip visited Madrid, Toledo, Cordova, Sevilla, Granada and Torremolinos from May 26 to April 12.
