Students will gain leadership skills at the first Coro-Harvard-Westlake Civic Leadership Summer Program at the Upper School for three weeks beginning June 11.
Coro Southern California works to build up communities in order to promote the democratic process and develop future leaders, according to its website. Among its notable alumni are Senators Tim Kaine and Dianne Feinstein.
Through Coro’s partnership with the school, students will be trained though leadership workshops and field trips around the city.
