Yan Zhao, a former teacher at Davidson Day High School in North Carolina, will join the school’s World Languages department as a Chinese I, Chinese II and Chinese III Honors teacher.
Zhao began her career working at Blue Sky International LLC, an import-export company. Zhao taught her colleagues Chinese during their free time in order to help them communicate with companies in China.
Zhao transitioned to work in school environments with public school enrichment programs. Ultimately, she taught Chinese I, Chinese II, Chinese III and AP Chinese at Davidson Day High School.
