Speeches from Salutatorian Clay Hollander ’19 and Valedictorian Sarah Moon ’19 highlighted the Class of 2019’s commencement ceremony June 7 on Ted Slavin Field.
Hollander, who also received the Lamar Trotti Jr. award for having made the most dramatic transformation during his time at the school, spoke about the many talents of his classmates and how everyone and everything in the community helped shape him into the person he is today.
Moon reminded the audience of the importance of staying in the moment and enjoying the process rather than focusing on the end result.
After the speeches, President Rick Commons presented the seniors with diplomas while Head of Upper School Laura Ross read their names.
