The girlsâ tennis team ended its season with a quarterfinal exit from the CIF playoffs.
âItâs hard to get over the loss of a pro,â Coach Chris Simpson said.
Although the Wolverines dominated the Mission League with a record of 9-1, losses that came in their non-league matches hurt their record.
They played the toughest non-conference schedule in southern California.
âOur strength of schedule was the hardest in California,â Simpson said. âWe made it with the
expectancy of getting Hilary back and a new recruit, but they never came through.â
Their season ended after an 18-0 loss to Corona Del Mar in the CIF quarter finals.
