Clinical psychologist Dr. Stephan Poulter told parents that if their children were rebelling, they were parenting correctly, in a presentation he gave on campus Feb. 28. Poulter told the audience that a child canât rebel unless he or she feels safe. He spoke mainly about fatherhood and encouraged men to be âactive, present, involved fathers.â He also advised audience members to find creative ways to get their childrenâs attention and be parents, not friends.
