The order of the first four periods will be flipped on the first Wednesday after spring break to accommodate a master class with violinist Midori, the guest speaker for an assembly that day.
Period three will start at 8 a.m. on April 18, followed by periods four, one and two, in that order. The assembly, part of the annual the Brown Speaker Series, will begin at 11 a.m., and the rest of the day will follow Special Schedule C in the student planner.
Because Midori can come no earlier than 9:30 a.m. the switch will allow the orchestra classes, which meet first and second period, to attend the master class, instrumental music teacher Paul Ludden said.
