Varsity football lost to Morro Bay, 15-14 in a CIF Southern Section
Northwest Division playoff game on Friday night in Morro Bay.
The Pirates won on a late fourth-quarter drive capped by a two-point conversion.
The game was tied 7-7 at halftime, and the Wolverines scored in
the third quarter on an 8-yard run from T’erhon OâNeal, who
finished the game with 100 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns.
The Wolverines defeated Bishop Montgomery 45-7 at Ted Slavin Field Nov. 21 in the first round of the playoffs.
The Wolverines headed into the playoffs after defeating Bosco Tech.
The win put over Bosco Tech put the Wolverines in second place in the league to end the season, behind the undefeated Serra squad. The Wolverines have a total record of 8-2-1.
