Head of School Jeanne Huybrechts will spend two weeks in late January attending the Klingenstein Center Heads of School program where she will research global education.
The center admits 20 heads of independent schools annually to the program.
The heads of school work on a project of their choosing that focuses on an educational issue.
This year the topic is global education.
“Iâve always been interested in doing something there,” Huybrechts said.
“The world is flat â we should be making students understand about the inter-connectedness around the world,” she added.
The research she will do there is a step in her goal of a global future for Harvard-Westlake.
