Last Thursday, the Environmental Club called on students to participate in a school-wide-trash free day. In an e-mail, the club asked students to reduce their waste by using reusable bottles, unplugging chargers and recycling.
The Environmental Club plans on having more trash-free days in the future. The trash-free day was on Thursday because the artist in residence Kim Abeles found that the school had the most trash on Thursday when she collected trash for her art project. The future Trash free-days will be tentatively set for Thursdays as well.
