Artist-in-residence Kim Abeles, whose art was exhibited in the Feldman-Horn gallery recently, talked to Martha Wheelockâs Gender Studies class on March 6 about women in art.
Abeles showed a slideshow of works in which she tried to integrate women into art.
Abeles concluded her visit with a discussion of the duality of womenâs roles as cleaners and caretakers and encouraged the exhibition of art by women.
