The significance of African-American history and its relation to current events will be explored by San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris at a school- wide assembly on Friday.
Harris was previously scheduled to be the speaker at the African-American History Month assembly in February, but had to reschedule due to a death in the family.
Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Eli Goldsmith originally suggested that Harris come to speak. He and the Harvard-Westlake African American Alumni Network handled the rescheduling.
