A water main break late Saturday night at Coldwater and Dickens was repaired and Coldwater was reopened to traffic late Saturday night.
Students and faculty coming to school during the first week of classes had to make a detour, turning onto Alcove between the Ralph’s Market and Starbucks, then turning right onto Halkirk and left onto Coldwater. Traffic coming from the south, from Mulholland, was not impeded, but the traffic was a little slower because motorists needed to turn off Coldwater at Halkirk instead of proceeding to the Ventura Blvd. intersection.
A barricade was erected across Coldwater just north of the school’s north entrance, on the north side of Halkirk.
