The middle school jazz band joined forces with two vocalists Friday Feb. 4 for the Big Band jazz concert. Molly Chapman ’14 sang “Almost Like Being in Love,” Aiyana White ’14 sand “The Nearness of You,” and the band performed nine additional numbers.
For the first time, the middle school jazz explorer combo performed two songs, performing arts teacher Starr Wayne said.
The concert was in Saperstein Theater from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
