The field hockey team defeated Bonita at Homecoming, 4-0.
Lucy Putnam ’14 scored twice and Brigid Sofen ’12 and Sarah Markowitz ’12 each added one.
For Putnam’s first goal, she received a long pass and spun around the defender to find herself in a one-on-one situation with Bonita’s goalie. She took one touch around the goalie and scored.
The team scored four goals in the first half, and were held scoreless in the second.
This raises the team’s league record to 3-0, with a 7-1 record overall. The Wolverines also defeated Bonita last Tuesday.
The team’s next match is Thursday against at Chaminade.
