An updated version of the iHW schedule app for the 2011-12 school year was released Oct. 25 on the Apple App Store for iOS devices. The free app, which displays a student’s daily schedule, did not work properly when students tried to add their classes for this year and instead showed the message “Have a great summer!”
The iHW app also features a countdown timer for each period and the ability to share a schedule on Facebook or through email. The new version added compatibility for Apple’s new iOS 5 and added a tab that shows the day’s cafeteria menu. Currently, the app only works for upper school schedules.
The app’s creator Gabe Benjamin ’11 left for college at the end of last year but still has plans to maintain the app, promising new features to come on iHW’s App Store page.
