After beginning the season with two consecutive losses to Santa Monica and Pacific Hills, the boys’ basketball team earned their first win in the Pacific Shores Tournament on Dec. 1 against Hawthorne, 87-59.
Power forward Derick Newton ’14 led the Wolverines in scoring with 17 points, as the team cruised its way to a 28 point victory.
