Members of the Girls Learn International chapter will attend the Commission on the Status of Women Conference from Feb. 27 to March 2 in New York. GLI is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls and encouraging leadership.
“I’m excited for us to take what we learn there and bring it back to share with the rest of the club and entire school community,” English teacher and chaperone Malina Mamigonian said.
