The annual Scene Monkeys show will take place on Friday May 18 at 5 and 7 p.m. in Rugby Theater. The 17 person improv group, made up of all students, rehearses all year for the show. Both shows are about an hour and a half of improv scenes and games that are made up on the spot based off of audience members’ suggestions.
“It’s just going to be a collection of fun and completely improvised different types of scenes,” said Scene Monkey Tara Joshi ’14. “We started rehearsing in November so we could get comfortable with everyone in our group, and I think it’s paid off.”
“My favorite part of Scene Monkeys is the unbeatable sense of camaraderie…I’m most looking forward to making my peers laugh,” said fellow cast member Lucas Foster ’13.
