The Upper School Dance concert will showcase the work of 32 students enrolled in the Advanced Dance I and Advanced Dance II classes on April 30.
The showcase does not have a specific or set theme, but students were allowed to decide which dances they wanted to perform in the showcase. The showcase will be the last Harvard-Westlake performance for the seniors enrolled in the class.
“It is going to be a great final performance of the year,” Advanced Dance 1 student Isabelle Lesh ’15 said.
Group dances, including a dance involving all the seniors in Advanced Dance II, duets, and solos will be performed in a variety of styles. The students have been preparing for the showcase for the past two months.
“This is a very talented group,” said Advanced Dance I and Advanced Dance II teacher Cynthia Winter said. “I am very proud of them.”
