The varsity girls’ volleyball team headed to Las Vegas this past weekend for the Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas, finishing with a 7-2 record in the tournament.
The Wolverines lost to Mira Costa in the early rounds of the tournament but then went on a four match winning streak with wins against El Dorado and La Costa Canyon.
However, the team then lost to Vista Murrieta in the bronze division semifinals. The Wolverines ended the tournament with a win over Clovis West, propelling them to a third place finish in the bronze division and 17th place overall.
