The boys’ water polo team edged out Huntington Beach today at William Woollett Aquatic Center in a thrilling 9-6 semifinal victory to earn a spot in the CIF Southern Section Division I Finals. The Wolverines’ next opponent is yet to be determined.
Last year the Wolverines lost to Mater Dei in the quarterfinals.
The water polo team joins the girls’ volleyball team and both boys’ and girls’ cross country teams as the fourth team to make CIF Finals this season.
