A loss to Mater Dei in the final match of the Mohs Tournament was the only thing stopping the girls’ volleyball team from leaving Orange County undefeated.
The Wolverines lost in two straight sets to the Monarchs after beating all four of its previous opponets during the tournament between Sept.21 and 22.
The Wolverines beat Beckman, Upland and Laguna Beach in two straight sets before beating Edison 2-1.
The Wolverines leave the tournament 12-3 overal and 1-0 in league. They take on league opponent Notre Dame on Thursday, Sept. 27.
