In their first Mission League meet, the girls’ and boys’ varsity cross country teams placed second and third respectively at Woodley Park on Thursday.
Although each team fell short of first overall, Ben Weissenbach ’15 was first to cross the finish line in the boys’ race, while Lizzy Thomas ’14 took first for the girls. Trishta Dordi ’15 followed Thomas, finishing third in the girls’ race.
The varsity teams have five more meets this season before League Finals on Oct. 31. Their next competition will be in the Woodbridge Invitational at Estancia High School on Saturday, Sept. 15.
