The varsity girls’ volleyball team beat Chaminade Thursday in notably short three-out-of-five games. The games scores were 25-13, 25-21, and 25-12.
Both Madison McAndrews ’13 at libero and Arielle Winfield ’15 at outside hitter were instrumental in the win.
“I’m really happy with how we played,” Josephine Kremer ’14 said, “because sometimes our team has a tendency to let down against not very good teams but tonight we came out strong, took an early lead, and kept up our energy up throughout all three games and basically took care of business.”
The team has its next match next Tuesday at home against Louisville.
