After suffering a five-game loss to Lousiville, the girl’s varsity volleyball team bounced back to defeat Flintridge Sacred Heart in straight sets, 25-19, 25-15 and 25-19.
With a Mission League record of 4-2, the Wolverines are behind Notre Dame (4-1) in the league standings. Players say they must win out in order to compete for first place, as they predict it is unlikely that Notre Dame loses any of its remaining games. The Wolverines will take their second shot the Knights at Homecoming, but they must first prepare for next week’s league matchups with Chaminade and Lousiville.
