Coming off of wins against Rio Mesa and Cleveland, the varsity baseball team beat Oaks Christian and its star pitcher Phil Bickford on Thursday at O’Malley Field. Bickford committed to play baseball at Cal State Fullerton, currently the ninth-ranked baseball team in the country.
The Wolverines’ 5-1 victory, behind pitching from Hans Hansen ’13 and a two-run homerun by Arden Pabst ’13, advances them to the semifinals of the Easton tournament. They will play Valencia tomorrow at 2 p.m.
