Matt Karo ’14, catcher for the baseball team, has committed to play at Columbia University in New York City. Karo, who has been playing baseball since he was 6 at West Los Angeles Little League, is focused on finishing his final season with the Wolverines off strong.
“It is a very stressful and difficult process that our coaches and program prepare us for, giving us a leg up on knowing what to expect,” Karo said. “As for playing [Division I] baseball, I’m psyched.”
Karo was a member of the CIF-winning team last year.
