Jack Flaherty ’14 threw a complete game shutout to give the baseball team their third straight win and 15th of the season. The Wolverines beat Capistrano Valley Christian 5-0 making their overall record 15-5-1.
This win streak comes on the heels of 2-1 loss to Bonita on April 12 and a 3-3 tie in the first game of a two game series against the league rival Loyola Cubs on April 17. The Wolverines went on to beat the Cubs 9-1 in the second game of that series.
The team will next matchup against Bishop Amat in the Redondo Tournament before resuming their league schedule on April 29 with a home game against Alemany.
