The girls’ volleyball team beat Santa Barbara in three sets to sweep its first game in Taper Gymnasium this season. Led by captains Josie Treadwell ’16 and Zoe Baxter ’16, the squad won each of the first two sets by eight points and the last one by nine. With the win, the Wolverines move to 6-1. They play their first league match at Notre Dame on Sept. 29.
