The Justin Carr Wants World Peace (JCWWP) Foundation is organizing a free heart screening for students in the Taper Gym conference room on March 7. The goal of the event is to screen students, ages 12 to 24, for possible heart conditions.
JCWWP is an organization for heart health awareness which was founded after the passing of Justin Carr ’14, who suffered from an undiagnosed heart condition. According to the organization’s website, its goal is to carry out the legacy of Carr through programs, scholarships and heart screenings.
The screening will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and access can be acquired from the organization’s website through an online sign-up form.
