Comedy writer, actor, director and producer David Wain will answer questions in a Q&A session with director Jason Reitman ’95 in the sixth installment of “Speaking of Movies” Wednesday Oct. 9. at 7 p.m. in Ahmanson lecture hall.
Wain is known for writing and directing the movies “Wanderlust” starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, “Role Models” starring Rudd and Sean William Scott and “Wet Hot American Summer“ again starring Rudd as well as David Hyde Pierce with Amy Poehler and Bradley Cooper in supporting roles.
Wain is also an executive producer, writer and director on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim’s Emmy-award winning series “Children Hospital.”
“Speaking of Movies” is co-produced by video art and photography teachers Cheri Gaulke and Kevin O’Malley. No tickets are required to attend.
