The Cross Country team ran their first Mission League meet at Griffith Park tonight.
Both the Girls’ Junior Varsity and Varsity teams won the meet with the help of Natalia Quintero ’20 who took first place with a time of 17:54.
Additionally, the Boys’ JV and Varsity teams achieved second place behind the Loyola team. The Varsity squad missed both Jonah and Adin Ring ’18 who were out with injuries.
The team was happy with their strong start this season.
“Griffith Park is always a very challenging race, but especially thanks to Natalia we were able to do very well as a team. We worked hard for this meet and it paid off,” Sirus Wheaton ’19 Junior Varsity runner said.
