HW Works will host its third annual internship workshop with various speakers instructing students on how to write resumes, succeed in interviews and find internships. The workshop will be held after school March 18 in the Kutler Center.
Speakers will include Joe Cha ’87, President of integrated media company Hipzone, Upper School Dean Beth Slattery, Parent’s Activities Liaison Portia Collins (Jason’97 and Jaren ’97) and Senior Alumni Officer Harry Salamandra.
“I hope they can walk out of it feeling more comfortable with pursuing an internship with their interest, go into the interview process confidently and be able to accentuate their positive attributes for a particular position,” Salamandra said.
Students who attend will also be matched up with alumni who work at companies dealing with fields they are interested in and will be able to interview for internships at those companies.
