After losing to Saugus in the CIF championship game last Friday, the girls’ soccer team rebounded with an 8-0 home win over Hollywood High School today.
Eight different players accounted for the eight goals in a game that was over by halftime.
Up 7-0 at the half, the Wolverines played most of their reserves in the second half and held on to the shutout. The team plays in the second round on Thursday at Ted Slavin Field.
